When high tide is in the afternoon it is possible to combine our two signature kayak tours into a single paddle with the full range of mangrove and coastal habitats.  Paddle up the Platanares River mangrove estuary with the rising tide until you can go no further and return with the falling tide.  Drag your kayaks across the sand spit and into the Golfo Dulce to cruise the shoreline, stopping to swim at the best beach.  Pods of bottle-nosed porpoises return daily in the afternoon along this coast on their way to the open Pacific, affording a great chance to view them.  Enjoy the sunset and in the growing darkness check out the photoluminescent algae in the water and swim amid the sparkles and.  If high tide is in the morning, you can still schedule both tours the same day for $60 per person.
