Bottom fishing with live bait in the Golfo Dulce is one of the most exciting fishing trips imaginable.  You will have no idea what is on the other end of your line.  The most popular inshore game fish is the roosterfish, catch and release only with him, please.  Other species include four types of snapper, jack crevalle, amberjack, African pompano, several types of grouper, a variety of sharks, mackerel, barracuda, and snook.  Throw back the jacks and roosters and bring back any good-eating catch to your lodge or favorite restaurant for a great dinner afterwards.  Pricing varies according to the size of the boat.  The higher prices are for tricked out boats.  However, all boats, regardless of the charter price, fish the same waters and have the same chance of success, so don’t be concerned that a less expensive charter means less chance of catching fish.  It doesn’t work that way.
