Horseback Riding Rio Nuevo / Dos Brazos / Elsewhere |
![]() |
|
One of the best ways to explore the forest and cover ground spotting wildlife on the Osa Peninsula is perched on top of one of the many horses that make their living touring through the forests and mountains and along the beaches of the area. Horseback riding is available from just about anywhere on the peninsula. In general the rate is around $10 per hour, figure $35 for a three hour tour. In most cases your guide is just a wrangler and many not speak English and is just there to guide you along and make sure that there are no problems with the horses. Other tours have an English-speaking guide and provide greater information about the environment. Some tours include transport and lunch; others just the tour itself. Let us know what you prefer and where, and we will get it all arranged for you. |
