Two-Day Excursion

Corcovado National Park

The two-day, all-inclusive guided excursion offers visitors a chance to hike through the park from the Los Patos station through Sirena and out at La Leona, 38 exciting kilometers in two days of hiking.  The tour includes breakfast at 5:00 a.m. on Day One, private taxi to Guadelupe, horseback riding to the Los Patos trailhead, a pack lunch, dinner, breakfast, and dorm lodging at Sirena, an optional night or morning tour in the Sirena area, breakfast the next morning, and private taxi transport back to town from Carate.  A first rate bilingual naturalist guide will ensure that you are able to optimize your wildlife viewing.  Expect to see tapir, monkeys, peccaries, coatis, macaws, crocodiles, and sea turtles in season.  Availability for this normally pre-arranged excursion is dependent upon lodging and meals availability at Sirena as well as the availability of a qualified guide.  Inquire here now to see if this is an option that will fit with your travel schedule!   For more information on Corcovado, be sure to review our recently published Corcovado National Park:  A Visitor's Guide.
