This full day of tree-climbing and waterfall rapelling originates in Carate and is led by fourteen year extreme guiding veteran.  Explore the verticality of Carate River and its many waterfalls.  Departure is from Carate, so participants originating in Puerto Jimenez will need to take the 6:00 am Carate colectivo for a 9:00 am departure.  For those overnighting in Carate, a 7:00 am departure is more reasonable.  To cut down on transit time, plan to spend 1-2 nights in Carate at an eco-lodge like La Leona Lodge, Terrapin Lodge, or Luna Lodge.
