The Osa Peninsula now has three canopy operations.  The oldest is Jinetes de Osa’s 1.6 km set of zip lines and platforms in the Drake Bay area, two hours drive from Jimenez.  At Miramar, a fifteen minute ride from town, there are 1.2 km and five platforms.  And at la Palma the newest canopy operation has 1.3 km and five platforms.  Glide through the canopy 30 meters up in the air at eye-level with 90% of the forest wildlife.  Enjoy the thrill of the ride.  Low impact, easy to control your speed.  A little dizzying being up so high.  Not good for those unnerved by heights, but the total bomb for thrill seekers.  For mixed media, try the Miramar canopy tour and instead of a taxi get back and forth by horseback for additional $25.
